What has been called the Tibetan Book of the Dead is not only a manual for dying but one for living, to help us prepare for the inevitable moment when we depart this life. While its description of the dissolution process may be timeless, how are we to personally apply its instructions in our modern context? In this talk, Dan will briefly outline the conceptual and textual history of the Tibetan Book of the Dead and focus on its practical application in our current conditions.

We have updated the End of Life Guidelines and initiated a NBCO Death Doula group and would like to share these new developments with you.
In preparation for our eventual departure from this life, it is important to plan ahead and fill out the End of Life Guidelines, the Medical Power of Attorney, and the Advanced Directives. Members will receive the documents in a separate mailing. Please look at them in advance of the program and come with questions!
