The Complete Tibetan Calendar Fire Horse Year 2026

For the year of the Fire Horse, the calendar features images and quotes inspired by faith and devotion. It features dates of important Buddhist holidays, anniversaries of important lineage figures, and other dates considered auspicious for regular meditation practices and other activities. Uniquely, it also includes detailed astrological information: the daily conjunction between the Tibetan Tsurluk lunisolar and Western (Gregorian) solar calendars. The more commonly used Tibetan Phukluk calendar month and date are also included, for reference.

The aspiration, as originally set into motion by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche over a decade ago, is cultural and lineage preservation. The calendar is published yearly so that the ancient Tibetan Tsurluk lunisolar astrological system, unique to our Kagyu Lineage, is not lost to time.
