Please join us on Easter Monday for a day-long Silent Nyinthün program, led by resident Canadian spiritual friend, Lama Rabten Tshering.
The program is both in person at Maitrivana and online via Zoom.
It is beneficial to practice all day long to deepen our meditation practice and develop the capacity to benefit both ourselves and others.
Nyin means “day,” and thün means meditation “session” in the Tibetan language. Essentially, a nyinthün is a one-day meditation retreat.
Mahakala is the main Dharma Protector of the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. By practising Mahakala, we eliminate outer, inner, and secret obstacles in our Dharma practice and develop the capacity to benefit ourselves and others.
