Tara Practice

Sun., November 1, 2020
11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Noble Tara
Mother of Victors
Mother of All Buddhas
Protector from Harm and Fears
Pacifier of Sickness, Hunger, Strife
Conquerer of Obstacles and Malign Influences
Liberator Who Leads Across the Ocean of Suffering
Endowed with Loving-kindness, Compassion, and Wisdom

With songs and chants, visualizations and mantra recitation, we supplicate Arya Tara to bestow her blessings on us and on all beings: to dispel our fears, heal our illness, pacify our anxieties and afflictive emotions, keep us from harm, overcome obstacles, awaken our own hearts of compassion and wisdom and liberate us, and clear away obstacles and protect and strengthen our sangha and our teacher Ponlop Rinpoche so the dharma may flourish.

The liturgy is unique to Nalandabodhi, being a mind treasure of Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche and composed by Khenpo and Ponlop Rinpoche.

Everyone is invited.

During the closure of Odantapuri, we are doing this practice online via zoom.  And, at this time, the practice is for Nalandabodhi members only.  To join, contact our Practice Coordinator, Meg Miller —
