We are launching a four-week Zoom program for parents entitled Parenting as Path: The View, Path, and Practicalities. Led by Steve Sachs, this program will offer an opportunity to explore, experience, and discuss parenting as a genuine spiritual path and practice—one that helps uncover the very best in ourselves and our children, even as we remain works-in-progress within an ever-changing world.
The primary source for our discussions will be Emotional Rescue by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, with a focus on applying its teachings practically to parenting and family life. Reading the book is entirely optional. The four week program starts on Tuesday, April 29th.  It is not necessary to attend all four sessions, and each session will be recorded and available to be viewed at any time. We just ask people to register so we can assess the level of interest.
Please provide your address below to receive any physical handouts from the program.
Steve Sachs, father to 28-year-old David, has been an educator of children and adults for over 40 years. A Montessori Pre-Primary teacher, he co-founded Eastern Sun Academy, a school integrating the inner truths of Buddhism with the leading edge of Western education. He also served as the director of Alaya Preschool and co-directed Family Camp at the Drala Mountain Center. Currently, Steve is working to expand programs for families and children within Nalandabodhi, the Buddhist community led by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche.
