NB Vancouver: Open Meditation – 30 minutes

NB Akasha: Shamatha Meditation: Opening Chants, Brief Instr & Q&A  –  1 hour 15 minutes

A basic resting meditation practice is called calm-abiding or shamatha.  Open meditation practice begins with a short instruction, chants and then alternates sitting and walking meditation. We start with mindfulness of breathing, which supports the development of calm and clarity, and is designed to help calm the mind and bring forth its natural qualities of spaciousness, clarity and attentiveness.  All are Welcome.  Learn more

Online Saturday practices of Open Meditation, Guru Rinpoche and Tara during the autumn period. Please join no later than 9:50 am before the practice begins at 10 am.
