Announcing the next course in our Introduction to Buddhism Series

The Four Foundations of Mindfulness

Online, Wednesdays,  November 16 through December 14, 6:00 to 7:30 PM MT

The Four Foundations of Mindfulness is one of Buddhism’s most famed frameworks for working with the mind and awareness, both on and off the meditation cushion. By settling your mind and investigating the true nature of your body, feelings, mind, and the world around you, it is possible not only to connect with a natural calmness, but also to uncover profound insights that bring freedom from suffering.

This is the 4th course in the Introduction to Buddhism series.  But it works well as a stand-alone course for those who haven’t completed the series.

The courses are based on talks by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, a contemporary Tibetan teacher. The courses are facilitated by senior students.

All are welcome! These classes may be attended as a course or on a drop- in basis. Discussions are led by senior students of Nalandabodhi Colorado. Each class will have a short guided meditation.

The course will be offered online, via Zoom. Please register (below) in advance to receive the Zoom link

The accompanying sourcebooks by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche are available for purchase. It is recommended that the class readings be done prior to each class. The texts for each course are available from the Nalanda bookstore. Please order them at least 2 weeks in advance of each course. The text is $15.00 plus $10 to $14 for shipping. An eReader version is available too. It works only on computers, not smart phones or tablets. Write Eileen Kay for more information about the eReader.
