Offered by Nalandabodhi Colorado
Tue., November 17, 2020, about 10 weeks
7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Online NB Colorado
This is the 3rd course in the Mahayana Study curriculum. This class explores the logic and reasoning of Madyamaka so that we can cut through our fixation and wrong views about the nature of phenomena. A few of the class topics include: Wisdom and the Middle Way, Prajna and the two realities, the Five Great Madyamaka reasonings, and the benefits and results of realizing emptiness. Understanding Madyamaka is said to be crucial for grasping and realizing Vajrayana, Mahamudra and Dzogchen. It inoculates us from the tendency to cling to things as being really existent and all the suffering arises from that view. To free oneself from grasping can lead to being more relaxed and open in our daily lives. More information and to register … |
